It’s been another crazy week here in Roma! We were graced with the presence of President Russell M. Nelson on Thursday and he taught (I mean I learnt new things rather than told inspirational things) for an hour straight without notes. It was amazing, especially as he’s 92!! He was teaching about the abrahamic covenant and the gathering of Israel, and how, as the tribe of Ephraim and Manasseh, we are reserved for this time. We are sent to earth at this time to prepare for the second coming, but instead of dwelling on how great a privilege this is we have to realise how much of a responsibility we have and we need to thrive under this pressure. We need to truly understand our heritage. I’m so glad that he decided to talk about the abrahamic covenant because it’s been something I’ve wanted to know more about!
We had a wonderful lesson with a family here in Rome, we read ‘The Living Christ’ and then bore testimonies on the Saviour. The spirit was incredibly strong, as it always is when we talk of Him. I’m so grateful for a knowledge of Him and what He’s done so I can do what I’ve been sent here to do!
We saw quite a few sights today, the Bocca della Verità, the oldest roman bridge, and the oldest Christian church here in Rome!
It was pretty cool, but I’ll let the pictures do the talking!
Sorry it’s a short one, but have the best day ever!
Vi voglio bene!
